heres a good one www.whistletutor.com/ click on tutorials on the top menu looks good site all lessons are free makes it even better. I bought a whistle in 1989 and i felt funny holding it as there are less holes compared to the P/C i could not get the hang of it, they sound good thou.

There are some folks in Canada who make a tin whistle in D that uses bagpipe chanter fingering and has the same holes as a practice chanter. They sometimes list them on ebay. They are called EnChanter tin whistles. I got one a year ago and it's lots of fun without having to learn new fingerings.

I have a D tin whistle and yes its practically the same fingering as the pipes....I have learned TONS of whistle tunes in a matter of minutes... they are so easy to pick up if you already know the pipes...oh yes and I also have bought a bodhran!!
