Hello everyone, I have got a Henderson bagpipe and ezedrone reeds. I bought some chanter reeds from different company. All easy reeds but one of them too much easy. When I play, this one is in overblowing and If I blow softly the ezedrone reeds ( tenor) don't sound good, I think becouse there is no enough pression. I wonder if my set up is wrong…there are different type of drone’s reeds (easy, medium, strong)? What is the utility of reeds too much easy, If I can’t play a good sound? Thank you Best regards

If you're just strarting out and think the reed is too easy, I can almost guarantee it is.
But the bigger issue is setup of your pipes. Find several reeds of similar strength, preferable from the same maker. Your drone reeds will be adjusted, usually by moving the bridles, to sound properly under the pressure you're giving the chanter reed.
If the reed bridles are too open, you'll be wasting air and struggling to sound the chanter. If the bridles are too closed, your drones will shut down when you sound the chanter.
