Hello everyone, I'm 5ft 7" , and I'm a normal body. I play bagpipe for two years with a Bannatyne large size. After all this time I feel the bag too bigger, no confortable. I'm sure I must change it! But I wouldn't do another mistake... I like Bannatyne bag but, I have to buy the medium o the small size? I know this is a difficult question ( and answer too). I don't have the possibilty to try them...I come from Italy, and in my country is not so easy to know piper's friends... Could you tell me what bag size do you have compared to the height? Thank you very much Lollo

It is a matter of preference. I like playing with a small bag, even though I am six feet tall and well built. Play with what you are most comfortable with.

Hi, I'm 5'10.5 and use a med bag. I'm sure the large is to big for you. I use the same bag too and have been for years John

I met an Italian piper last weekend and he said there were at least two pipe bands there. That is not many I know, but if either is near you, visiting one would allow you to ask to try somebody else's pipes out.

I agree with Greg. I am 5'9'' and play a medium bag. Most of the members of my pipe band play medium. Good luck.
